A vast majority of the existing membership just don't care any longer what happens at meetings as they only show up to get out of the house, drink coffee and eat donuts. What you speak of above has also been my personal experience. I call myself a "late bloomer" because I spent up to 10 years caught up in a vortex of negative thinking. I couldn't find success because I hadn't "decided" to be successful. After several encounters with a slightly older new fried that became essentially a big brother, I switched gears and "decide" my outcome. There a large number of things that happened automatically in response to the change in attitude. Big success stories, by most standards, in business and personal growth. One old friend says I got lucky with my successes. I know better, luck has nothing to do with it. It's all a matter of a decision...
